Had a great weekend over the holiday. Took Friday off so it gave me a 4 day weekend. I was in need of some time out of there it did me good. Went to Cedar Rapids to visit my friend and his wife and my other good friend that usually comes here with his son. We are all good friend from way back. The two guys I met in grade school and we are still friends. I think that's pretty cool. We get along well, even though we don't see each other that much anymore they are those kind of friends that you just immediatly pick back up like no time has passed. We had fun. Went to this new casino in Iowa City. None of them had ever been to a casino. It was pretty fun. they are all way too tight with their money to seperate with it like that. LOL
Went to this place that flooded in 1993 that uncovered a bunch of rock that is filled with fossily thingy's. It was pretty cool. It was a beautiful weekend every day so it was not so hot that we couldn't do that type of thing. It was in the 80's and perfect not a cloud in the sky. The sky was beautiful.
I bought a new camera. I wanted one with lots of zoom so I got one with 12x optical zoom. It's a Sony - Cybershot. It's 6 megapixal. Which isn't much more than the one I have but I really think it's kind of worthless above that. For what I'm looking for anyway. And it has no digital zoom which I think is worthless unless you are a trypod person and stillshot person. I don't like either of those. The shutter speed on this one is great and that's what I was looking for too. My freind up there had the consumer report guide and it was list as number 2 so I was pretty impressed with my choice. It was origanally like $350.00 but I got it for $199.00 on labor day sale. WOOHOOO. Can't wait to take pics in Seattle and of the eagles this fall.
Started 3rd week of Enbrel shots this week. I think things are a lot less red. Other people think it is too. So I hope it is working. I've been feeling a little better about it.
Got tickets for the Seattle trip. I can't wait to go. Had to wait till tickets were down a bit. Got a good deal for $198.00 so that will help. I'm kind broke so watching every penny. At least out there visiting M I don't have a hotel bill and this time I won't rent a car. He's been wanting me to come out since he moved to the Island. He said eagles are always flying around. The sunsets are beautiful and you get to see all the huge ships come in and go out. He's also see grey whales and huge battleships. He lives very near the beach so it sound so good.
Been trying to relax more and practice some meditating yoga. Found a couple cool podcasts I'm listening to. I think that will help a lot of things. I really need to relax a bit. Not that I'm a bunch of nerves but I know I'm stressed over the psoriasis and it is effecting it.
Have been really horny lately, I'm hoping this shit clears up soon. LOL I'm ready for some human touch and not my own. LOL
Audit next week at work. Yeehaaa. They are always so fun. I'm realy not too worried about it this time.
My little namesake newphew is finally trying to potty in the big boys potty. I told him if he would try hard he could stay over night with me. So he has been doing good so he gets to stay tomorrow night. He's been talking about it all week I guess. Went up to their house the other night to see how he was doing. He was in little briefs. He was so cute in them. His little bitty butt was so cute in them. All he could talk about was staying all night. So it'll be fun.
