Made it home from Seattle just fine. Dad made it through his procedure without too much trouble. Doctor said 95% sure he will be cured. It's a matter of time now though. I'm glad he got it done and am glad I got to go out there with him and mom and my sister Shannon.
It was kind of disorganized but I guess the VA always is. LOL The doctor was great. We got to have a little fun the night before. We all went up to the space needle to eat and see the views. It was beautiful at night. The second day there after dad got finished and we took him back to the hotel to rest. We went out to Pikes Fresh Market downtown Seattle. They both wanted to see it after I had talked about it. It was cool. My friend "M" from out there got to come in and meet my mom and sister and take us through the market. So cool to have him meet them. They loved him and he them I think. I love that. Was a little nervous about the meeting as some "white" lies have been told about how we know each other to my family. But all went very well. He and my sister hit it off really well, I knew they would. Talked each others legs off. hehehe. Took mom and my sis across on the huge ferry to see Seattle from that view and take mom to the indian casino for a little gaming. The views of Seattle were spectacular. I love that town. They thought is was also beautiful.
On Saturday morning took them back to the airport and dropped them off. Then I was adventurous and thought I would try to find "M" in town all by myself. I didn't have that much trouble but had driven around a little and almost reached for the phone when I found it. LOL We got to spend the day together. It was a lot of fun. We went up to the mountains to see some of the snow and ski areas. It was amazing. Wonderful whites on top of whites. So clean fresh and crisp. I love the mountains. So pretty. Here are a few pics. 
The last one is of me right before I fell face down in the snow. LOL "M" had me stand on a drift that was about 4 Feet tall, you can see how I'm about the vehicels behind me. And when I stepped down I pointed my toe and went right down. LOL I jumped back up to see who had seen me. LOL Had snow all over. "M" was laughing after he noticed. HEHEHE We had a great day together. I'm glad I got to do that. Was so good to see him again.
