Slippery Runway?????

Hey there,
Just wanted to make a quicky. Sorry been a little bit since last entry. Things are going pretty good here. Got through the holiday pretty well. Parents asked me to go to Seattle with them, they seemed like they really wanted me to go and help them get around out there. Dad is having a procedure done to do seed implanting radiated steel pieces into his prostate to hopefully get rid of his cancer. It's been really effective in a lot of people around here. The Veterans Administrations sends all their people that need this out to Seattle, they have contracted a specialist. Dad gets everything paid for. I pray it works. So anyway they offered to pay for my flight. I couldn't say no. Just couldn't. So I've been planning that most of the week. Getting maps and directions to the places we will need to go out there. Lining up the car rental and things. We leave in the morning. I couldn't get the same flight as them as it would have cost $250.00 more, and I wouldn't let mom pay that. So I go out a little early on a different airline. I can get the rental car all set up and wait for them to show up.

This will be moms first flight. LOL 67 and hasn't been on a plane. She's a nervous wreck. She even got a couple valium from the doctor. LOL Hope she doesn't need it. She's never been one to be in confined spaces either so this may be interesting. I'm glad my sister is going, she will have her hands full.

Even I am a bit nervous. It's snowing like crazy here and "M" called to tell me it is supposed to snow out in Seattle tomorrow. Yikes I've never taken off on a snowy runway. Spppooookkkyyyyyyy. When the start spraying the plane down with de-ice I'm the one that will need the valium. LOL

Took an extra day out there to spend some time with my friend "M". I can't wait. He's always so much fun. Not sure what we will do but just sitting and chatting would be cool with me. We usually find something to do.

Trying to plan the next visit to see Boomer. Hopefully over new years weekend. Just haven't had time to get that all ready. Flights go quick this time of year so want to do it as early as possible. Can't wait to see him again.

Diet is sucking hind tit right now. Jeeez why is this so hard. I watched "The Biggest Loser" and that is very inspirational. But they did have a lot of help get them started with the right exercises and the right foods. Still thinking about joining the fitness center. May start my new year that way. I just want to feel good.

Well since I waited till the last minute to pack I should go finish up. Hope all is well out there. Please take care and as always thanks for listening.

Hugs,
SW
